SUMMER CLAY CAMP 2025 SCHEDULE

SESSION 1 CLAY CAMP for ages 7-12 : July 7th - 11th, 9a - 2p daily

SESSION 2 CLAY CAMP for ages 7-12 : July 21st - 25th, 9a - 2p daily 

Cost for the week: $500  all materials and firings included 

Both Session 1 and Session 2 are for youth ages 7-12 years old. Throughout the week, campers will be guided through various projects in which they will learn foundational hand-building and glazing techniques. Campers will also have the opportunity on the last day to try throwing on the wheel. In additon to working on clay projects, campers will assist in studio operations such as reclaiming clay using the pugmill and loading pieces into the kiln. There will be a 30 min snack break each day (snacks provided) and a 1 hour lunch break (lunch not provided) Campers required to bring their own lunch and refillable water bottle.

TEEN CLAY CAMP for ages 13+ : August 4th - 8th, 12:00 - 4p daily

Cost for the week: $400  all materials and firings included

Teen Clay Camp is for youth 13 and up. The primary focus throughout the week will be wheel throwing. Campers will learn the process from start to finish including glazing to make their pieces functional and food safe. Students will be learning some off-the-wheel techniques as well to create their own unique wire tool. Aside from working on clay projects, campers will assist in studio operations such as loading and unloading the kiln. There will be a 1/2 hour break in which campers may leave to grab a snack or hang out and have some provided snacks.
